Fourth of July Weddings

Talk about fireworks! As the ceremony ends and the officiant pronounces you husband and wife, what's more appropriate than a fireworks display? (Try not to catch the facility on fire.) Here are some more Fourth of July theme ideas:

¨ It's July, so why not plan for an outdoor reception with red, white, and blue tablecloths?

¨ Lead off the processional with a 1776 traditional drum and fife core. Consider using the "1812 Overture" for the recessional. How majestic!

¨ Have your gown and those of your wedding party made in an eighteenth-century style.

¨ Top off the cake with sparklers, and give children some sparklers to enjoy (with adult supervision).

¨ Right before you and your partner exit, gather the entire reception out on the lawn and have a fireworks display to bring your wonderful day to a dramatic end.
